News Feed. App Downloads. Relativity af electric and magnetic fields. Author: Luca Moroni. Topic: Circle. Quick notes 1 Due to the complexity of the calculations it's highly advisable to download the ". Charge in a rotating electric field and a static magnetic field.

The main aim of this work is to investigate " the relativity of magnetic and electric fields ", following somehow Richard Feynman' great lecture. We can see here that, in some case, the same trajectory can be obtained by a single field E or B or by a combination of both. The idea of a rotating electric field came to me with the purpose of investigating more closely the possible relationships between the two fields that are actually different aspects of a single physical entity that is the electromagnetic field.

If both fields are present almost all trajectories are bounded, with the exception of the trochoids and the spirals. The latter curves are triggered by a particular "resonance" condition that occurs when the rotation angular frequency of the E field equals the natural angular frequency of the B field. Three different views are shown in the worksheet: the motion in the xy plane 2D , the motion in 3D and the energy levels against time.

Some particular interesting initial conditions can be selected in the yellow drop-down box. Further details on the math behind the construction are in the pdf of the previous version where there was a static E field and not a rotating one available here. Others, specifically focused on the effects of the rotating E field, will be added hopefully soon, maybe in www. A possible future further step could be to make also the B field variable in time i.

Lead magnets are one of the best ways to increase subscribers. Here are 69 highly effective lead magnet ideas and examples to grow your email list. What Is a Lead Magnet? A lead magnet is an incentive that marketers offer to potential buyers in exchange for their email address or other contact information. Lead magnets usually offer a piece of digital, downloadable content, such as a free PDF checklist, report, eBook, whitepaper, video, etc. Because email is a very personal thing. As a marketer, it is your job to give them a compelling reason to do so.

A reed switch is an electromagnetic switch used to control the flow of electricity in a circuit. They are made from two or more ferrous reeds encased within a small glass tube-like envelope, which become magnetised and move together or separate when a magnetic field is moved towards the switch. The switch effectively works like a gate, or a bridge, in an electric circuit so when the two reeds are in contact, electricity can flow around the circuit operating a device. Unlike mechanical switches they do not require something or someone to physically flick them on or off, they are controlled completely by invisible magnetic fields! In a normally open switch, the two reeds, which are made from ferrous material such as a nickel-iron alloy are positioned so that they are not touching. When a magnet is moved close to the switch, it pulls one of the reeds towards the other so that they are touching, and therefore completing the circuit. Remove the magnet and the reeds return to their original position breaking the circuit.

This is a super quick and easy science experiment that is entertaining for both kids and adults alike. Graphite is an electrical conductor, perfect for learning about circuits and electricity! Definition of wave. For sound waves the wavefront would be a surface containing all adjacent points where the wave pressure is in step. For light the wavefronts are surfaces connecting adjacent points where the oscillating electric fields are in step. What factors affect the speed of sound?

Egg cooking in a hot pan. What is happening? When a raw egg begins to fry as it hits a heated frying pan, energy from the pan moves to the egg and cooks it. Why is this conduction? Example: Heat is transferred through solids from one particle to another particle or from the pan to the egg. Why is this not an example of convection?
